System Defaults

System Defaults define the default values that apply to all users and reports when no user-specific or report-specific defaults are set.

Default Priority

When processing a report, B2Output applies defaults in the following order:

  1. User Defaults - Settings saved by the individual user for the specific report
  2. Report Defaults - Settings configured for the specific report
  3. System Defaults - Global default settings (configured here)

Format Defaults

Default Format

Set the default output format for new reports:

Set the default conversion mode:

Action Defaults

Default Actions

Configure which actions are enabled by default:

  • Launch - Open the file after conversion
  • Download - Download to browser
  • Email - Send via email
  • Print - Print to default printer
  • Archive - Save to archive location

Default Destinations

Set default destinations for each action type:
